Medical Fund

BFWA runs a Medical Fund to provide for a variety of medical needs, including emergency treatment, vaccinations, health and dental check-ups.

When possible, we arrange a team of medical practitioners to travel to northern Thailand to provide much needed medical attention such as vaccinations, general health check-ups, dentistry, and urgent health procedures. Many children won’t have ever owned a toothbrush, never mind getting their teeth checked. Some may have had untreated medical issues for their entire life.

Case Study: Safe drinking water and sanitation

This project is an example of a project that BFF undertook, together with Rotary International, Chiang Mai University, Brian Rooke and BFWA. This facility now provides safe drinking water and bathrooms to many communities and all the hostels. Thousands have benefited.
